The word manifest has been chosen as the Cambridge Dictionary’s “Word of the Year” for 2024, and it’s a term you may have heard often, especially from self-help experts. However, it’s important to hear it repeatedly until it connects deeply with our goals, desires, and resolutions.
Manifestation is the belief that you can achieve something by repeatedly imagining it. One of the main tools for manifestation is visualization. This involves picturing the outcome of your desires or goals. For example, I had the goal of publishing my books. I visualized my book launch event over and over, imagining the pride, joy, and satisfaction that would come with it. Within a year, I successfully launched my books.
One of the most important aspects of manifestation is clarity. You must be clear about what you want to achieve. If your mind is full of too many ideas, it can be difficult to focus on one goal. A vision board is a great tool to help with this. By creating a board with images that represent your goal and looking at it daily, you can maintain mental clarity and focus on what you truly want.
You can manifest at any time, but it’s most effective when you’re calm and not in a rush. Manifest during or after meditation when your mind is clear and focused.
There is also a powerful tool to enhance manifestation: Sankalpa Mudra. Sankalpa is a Sanskrit word meaning determination, and the Sankalpa Mudra is the gesture of manifestation. It’s believed that practicing this gesture during meditation helps you achieve your goals.
So, when you meditate and manifest, try incorporating this mudra to deepen your focus. Best of luck in manifesting your goals!
